Fencify Capture Privacy Policy

FENCIFY, LLC (“Fencify,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides Fencify Capture, a business-to-business iOS application used by authorized users of Fencify customer accounts to measure proposed fence layouts and send measurements to their company’s Fencify tenant.
WHO CONTROLS THE DATA
Each Fencify customer controls the customer-site and capture data its authorized users submit. Fencify processes that information to provide and support the service on the customer’s behalf. Requests about an account, job site, or capture should normally be made first to the customer’s Fencify administrator.
INFORMATION THE APP HANDLES
Account and authentication information includes a work account, tenant identifier, and authentication tokens stored in the iOS Keychain.
Fence measurement data includes marker coordinates and relative elevation; marker types; segment lengths, run totals, gate widths, and manual corrections; calibration and loop-closure information; capture date and time; and tracking-quality information. The camera supports Apple augmented-reality tracking. The app records measurement coordinates, not video.
Site photos are optional and user initiated. Approximate location is optional and may be saved as a reference centroid; it is not used to calculate lengths or make absolute-location claims. The app also records limited device and app details such as version, device model, LiDAR capability, and sync status.
Fencify Capture uses Sentry for crash reporting. Crash events may include the customer tenant identifier for diagnosis, but are configured not to include customer names, contact details, capture geometry, precise location, site photos, or other customer personally identifiable information. The app does not include advertising or product-analytics SDKs beyond crash reporting.
HOW INFORMATION IS USED
Information is used to authenticate users, route data to the correct tenant, record and sync reviewed fence geometry, attach optional photos, show sync status, protect the service, investigate errors, provide support, and meet legal obligations. Fencify Capture is a deterministic measurement tool. The Capture workflow does not send geometry, photos, or location through artificial-intelligence processing and does not infer or calculate a fence price.
CAMERA AND LOCATION PERMISSIONS
Camera access is required for AR measurement. Location access is optional; capture and sync still work when location is denied. Permissions can be changed in iOS Settings.
STORAGE, SYNC, AND RETENTION
Unsynced geometry, optional photos, and device information are stored in the app’s protected sandbox. When connectivity is available, users can sync a capture to their company’s Fencify tenant. Synced local copies are purged 30 days after sync. Signing out removes stored credentials and local captures, so needed captures should be synced first. Tenant data is retained under the customer’s account and instructions, subject to contractual, security, backup, and legal-retention requirements.
SHARING AND SERVICE PROVIDERS
Fencify does not sell Capture data, rent it, or use it for third-party advertising. Information may be available to the customer that submitted it; service providers that host, secure, transmit, or support Fencify; Sentry for the limited crash-reporting purpose above; or authorities when required by law or needed to protect rights, safety, and security.
SECURITY
Fencify uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, including iOS Keychain storage, app-sandbox storage, authenticated tenant-scoped requests, and service access controls. No system can guarantee absolute security.
CHILDREN
Fencify Capture is a business tool for authorized workers and is not directed to children.
ACCESS, CORRECTION, AND DELETION
Contact the organization’s Fencify administrator first for an account, site, or capture request. If the administrator cannot help, email steve@fencify.io with a name, organization or tenant, and enough information to identify the request. Do not send passwords, sensitive customer details, or site photos. Fencify will verify the request and coordinate with the customer when the customer controls the record. Unsynced captures can be deleted in the app.
CHANGES
This policy may be updated when the app, service providers, or legal requirements change. The updated policy will appear at this URL with a revised effective date.
